Review summary

This was our first cruise and we were so apprehensive.  Norwegian Escape turned out to be a fabulous vacation for our family.  The service was impressively responsive and gracious at every turn, the restaurants (both those included in the price as well as the specialty) were outstanding, the entertainment was of the highest quality and such fun, and I don't know exactly what they did at that kids club, but every child I spoke with (including my own) went bananas over it, which in turn bought lots of personal time for my husband and I.  Thank you, Norwegian Escape!

A bit tight for a family of 4, three of whom are female, but clean and well designed.

Ship tip

Be absolutely sure to plan and book your meals, entertainment and excursions well ahead of time as they can get booked up even before the cruise begins. Get up early to get a chair.

Cotton Club and Brat pack in theater was top notch with first class musicians backing them up. Howling with moon is always over the top. OShehans is the best bar/24-7 restaurant afloat. Never ate in dining room. Plenty choices. NCL Escape rocks

Imn1996 yes, walk past the casino, through OSheehans and you'll be in the more adult arcade area (there is a children's arcade room on 17 without bowling)

cruiserman025    7 years ago

Bowling is behind the casino

yes, all activities are included...waterslides, ropes course, mini golf, splash academy...best type of vacation, I agree.. only thing NOT included is the arcade and bowling

Is the bowling in O Sheehan?

Has anyone done the spa balcony on the Escape? I'm doing one in 42 days.

I will be going on the Escape June 3rd and I have an 11 year old and a 3 year old. My 11 year old is nervous about the kids club and how it works. Do u have any suggestions to make her comfortable. Also are all activities on ship included?? Waterslides? Ropes course?? Thanks

No just went when no one else was there it cost $5.00. It is European bowling with smaller balls and pins.

Did you have to make reservations for bowling?

We love The Escape and not only was it all that but bowling at sea was great
