Review summary

Extremely disappointed!!!

1.  My room had 2 twin beds in it - should have been 1 Queen.

2.  After the 1st day - kids were not allowed in the main pool until after 5:00 pm.

Leaving only the tucked in the back with no seating kiddie pool.  We paid the

same for every person that went on the cruise and were limited because of our

    kids.

3.  We paid for an excursion that did not show on Norwegian's ledger and therefore we were not able to go.  Even though we show a confirmation #.

This experience turned me completely against cruising....

It sounds like you are inexperienced in cruising. All you had to do was ask the room steward to make your bed into a queen. Don't ever book an excursion outside of the cruise line, no 3rd party booking. Always book straight through the company. Next time, use a travel agent instead and they will help get you the best prices and get you excursions that are through the cruise line.

I hope you had the chance at least to visit with Washy Washy Happy Happy.

I went on Escape in January. I could not enjoy the pools at all because 1-pools too small 2-too much stuff jammed in together and 3-too many people crowding around it during daylight hours I could not get within 50 feet if any pool.

You do know as it states on the website that the bed can be 2 twins or converted to one queen right?

The "other pool" is a family pool its better because you don't have the drunk grown-ups acting a fool. If you just want pool and to relax, then you don't want the adult pool.

Never a problem on NCL for me! My kids follow the "rukes" and love cruising NCL so much that when I tried to go on Carnival they threw a fit. lol! They also have turned down Disney twice to cruise NCL. There is so much for kids!!

As someone who has a child and who has cruised with her, I did my research on this kind of thing before cruising. I wouldn't have wanted my kid splashing around with intoxicated adults do we stuck to the kids pool section... sucked it up cause rules ARE rules, and took turns watching her. You are only limited if you make yourself limited.

Seems like you didn't do your research. Plus that ships has so many other activities to keep your kids busy.

Wait! Your stateroom attendant can change the bed from 2 twins to a larger bed or the other way around. Cruise ship staterooms are versatile that way.

Norwegian is a great Cruise Line. Sorry you had a bad experience. The beds shouldn't be an issue, it is as simple as asking them to put the beds together. Also it's great they have a separate area for family/children so they're not around all the obnoxious adults. Some ships don't even have fun kids areas like that.

As for the bed, you simply ask your room steward to make the bed into a queen. They convert.

Ive never cruised on ncl, and now I'm seeing all these comments how kids are not allowed in the main pool until after 5.
