Review summary

Overall cruise was good but the way NCL handled their decision not to visit Nassau  was very very disappointing.  They announced we would not stop at Nassau and they would credit $50 per cabin.

The reason they gave not going into port was docking system but why couldn't they use tug boats.  $50 per cabin is so small a credit that it mad everyone very mad

This is not uncommon. Read your passenger contract where it states "The cruise line can change the itinerary for any reason". Their "decision" not to port in Nassau was for safety reasons. As for using tugs, do you have any idea the cost involved in that especially at the last minute. How would you have felt if they added additional charges to your account to pay for the tugs? Isn't it better to get money back as opposed to being charged extra just to visit a port for a few hours? Nassau will always be there for future cruises. Remember, you are paying for the cruise, not the ports. The $50 you and others received was the port fees & taxes.
