Review summary

Our overall review of our cruise was excellent. The professionalism of the crew and staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the entertainment, shows, dining and relaxation. We would recommend Norwegian Cruise Line to friends, family and employees.

Most of the staff were great, but when it came to the cabin next door to ours it seemed as they didn't want to get involved to handle the problem as it should have been.

Deck 14 cabin#41432 was our room and the steward was excellent, very accommodating. We were very excited about our first cruise together as a couple. The worse part of our cruise was the cabinroom #41434 next to ours. The fighting screaming hitting banging smashing items into the walls were unbearable. They were so intoxicated that all of this was unbearable, especially for the first three nights. We reported the incident three times, by telephone, and even went to the front desk. They said it would be handled but it seemed to be a waist of time. The fighting, banging, threatening to hit, screaming was too much. I was afraid one of them would whined up overboard. After the third complaint we received a call, 2 days before returning back from our cruise, asking if we wanted to be moved to another floor which I felt was totally ridiculous. They should have had the couple removed the second night of us calling regarding the situation. Why should we have been inconvenienced for their behavior. That will reflex our decision to book another cruise, because it was just about an everyday or evening event. If I were the manager that couple would have been barred from ever using our cruise line. Besides that problem for most of our cruise we had a wonderful time so long as we were not in our cabin. Sincerely, Kim Hunt & Philip Fairchild
