Review summary

I really hate to rate this beautiful ship so poorly. As a seasoned traveler and cruiser, I never expect things to be perfect - it is indeed the imperfect moments that frequently make for lasting memories. And not every shore excursion will be grand and wonderful, but our excursion in Nassau, Bahamas is the singular time, in 30+ years of cruising, that I have felt unsafe.

So ... lovely ship! Met some lovely people working aboard! But the fact that NCL is ok with unsafe conditions on its shore excursions makes me seriously question the safety conditions and responsiveness one could expect onboard in case of an actual emergency situation.

@kevi2900, it was... Atlantis (both waterpark and beach excursions were in the mess). They gave us 25% back. If you are on them, I would cancel if I were you. Just get your own cab to Atlantis.

I was in the same Nassau port mess and it too was the worst experience I've ever had in 17 cruises. I blame the shore excursion coordinators in Nassau, and also NCL for not requiring higher quality service. My husband and I have no intention of ever visiting Nassau again.

Yeah, sounds like more of a review of Nassau vs the cruise ship itself. I've heard Nassau isn't the greatest and many pp choose to stay on the ship at that port these days.
