Happy to be on cruise, but due to specialty restaurants and long waits to get drinks, I would not do this ship again!

I'm a platinum member now and was excited about priority boarding. In line however I was told I had to be platinum plus. no such thing.

main dining rooms very good. buffet was okay, but the seating is terrible. Must make reservations before cruise even starts or you can just about forget about them on this ship! not enough staff in the specialty restaurants! without reservations you pretty much will not get in. They open at 5:30 pm. If there is a cancellation or no show they don't fill it because it would back up the rest of the reservations through the evening. they hold reservation for 15 minutes. They tell you to show up at 8-8:30pm to see if they can get you a table. I did this 5 nights in a row and always the same reply nothing available. The fifth night I waited a whole hour going up to host every 15 minutes, no luck at all. That night there was a minimum of 10 tables that sat empty that whole time I was waiting. I was calling reservations 3 times everyday and got one at 5:30 on sixth day. I had to argue with host for ten minutes and finally was seated after 15 minutes. Food was excellent,service was good but slow. A good 2.5 hours there. I talked to guest services and onboard lattitude services and managed to get into one more specialty restaurant on day 7. food was great, service good but slow. missed shows on last night due to this.

stayed in balcony, toilet,shower,and sink set up receives a failing grade from me. Hard to find seating in buffet area due to high backed leather seating that separates seating from buffet area. these tables seat up to 8 and can not be changed. walking around they often only have 2 or 3 people sitting at them.

comfort, size, and cleanliness was very good, I would fail it on toilet, shower, and sink layout.
Ship tip
stay away from it. bar service is slow and long lines due to under staffing
NCL opens reservations for speciality dining 120 days out. If you wait until you are on board you are going to be disappointed no matter which ship you are on.
They are not understaffed. Due to ships being at 98% capacity or above you will wait in lines no matter what cruiseline you sail with. I just got off NCL and asked about staff, I was told they are fully staffed.
