Embarkation

1 out of 5
My husband who needed a wheel chair was forced to stand till we got thru check in and security and then walked thru entrance to finally get wheel chair to be pushed on ship, then had to go to customer service to get the wheel chair we reserved.Long wait for this to happen, they brought him a wheel chair that the foot was broken, claiming the only one they had, 2 days later they brought us another one, that the the brakes didnt work, took another day to finally get one that was very old but did finally have brakes.

It's always best to bring your own mobility assistance device.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Sorry you had so many wheelchair issues.

Karl, NCL is notoriously remiss with wheelchairs. You would think since we reserve ahead of time they would have an idea the amount needed before embarkation. If you bring your own, then someone other than NCL needs to push it. There's no way I'm relying on my 76 yo husband tp push me up the ramps. What if he has a heart attack doing so?

Geez. That’s a terrible wheelchair story. Would it be worth it to take your own maybe?
