Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5

La Cucina Italian Restaurant

2 out of 5

Opened 1/2 hour lateAt least 20 minutes between coursesScheduled for 5:30. At 7 we had only gotten our second course. Because we were so delayed the engines started and the noise and shaking was difficult to continue to enjoy a very expensive dinner

Garden Cafe

2 out of 5

Poor selectionMany dishes were tastelessJuices were watered down

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Line and lines everywhere. Not enough staff to serve or clean tables or bartenders. Tables not cleaned outside so we had to eat standing up because the buffet area has no seating

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
They were very helpful and courteous. But they are so understaffed they seemed to always be fast walking around Because of the staff shortages everywhere and staff trying to move quickly. We were frequently cut off as they walked in front of us or crossed over in front of us

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Very poorly designed in rooms, one the deck and in general the entire ship

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Very poorly designed. Had to contact for maintenance because door key did not work on occasion. Water temperature went up and down Sink did not drain.

Ship tip

Until Norwegian discontinues their current policy to cut services and raise prices and stop with nickel and dime tactics. Please consider holding off on a cruise with NCL.

Disembarkation

No concept of passengers with disabilities. I am forced to use a cane and can be unsteady. Had to stand in long lines to leave ship. Because no elevators were available I had to walk steps from 12th floor. And at least 3 times I was loosing sensation in my left leg. Causing me to stop and hold up passengers behind me and anger many of them
