Review summary

Azores canceled because of Portuguese Transportation Strike....Bermuda because of weather. $200 ship board non refundable credit offered as compensation. Couldn't use on gratuities, couldn't use at casino...had to use or lose. So bought a cheap quality Invicta watch that I can't even sell on ebay for a fraction of the money I should have been refunded. In addition never got back the port charges that we paid for ports we never went to....In addition December is NOT the time of year to go....wet, rainy, lousy weather the entire time.

Transatlantic cruises are always at the beginning or end of the cruise season because the weather is crap and no one wants to sail during that time. Why are people shocked by this? It’s why they are so cheap…

$200 credit for 2 missed ports is very generous. It wasn't the ship's or cruise line's fault anyway.

Sorry about the missed ports. Yeah, I would guess going across the Atlantic in December might not be great weather.

Wow, $200 onboard credit for missing ports. That is very generous compared to most. They shouldn't keep your port charges though.

Thanks for your comment. Sad that 2 main ports were missed. Especially on a transatlantic...For sure, December is not a great month for such an itinerary, but overall you gave a good rating for the cruise. Hope you enjoyed it anyhow!
