Review summary

Wouldn’t be my first choice of a ship from the layout to a majority of the crew.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
There was one lane of traffic in and out of the port. Once you got to the port embarkation was less than 20 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Didn’t eat at Manhattan because we refuse to dress up. Do t like packing unnecessary clothing. Taste was gross, service was great until the desert and then everything took forever. Was disappointed that there wasn’t any deck cooking or pig roast. Have to make specialty restaurant reservations immediately. You can use your upgraded dining at Wasabi for any 4 items on menu and the spiegel tent dinner and show.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools are way too small. There is a ton of deck space though. Fitness center was one of the best I’ve seen.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Howling at the moon was fantastic, comedians were ok...bar closes during comedians. Christmas show was great, Michael did amazing on choreographing in such a short time. There’s a lot of talent in Burn the Floor and Pricilla however when the ship says it’s not for children, they mean it. I don’t like when people don’t listen and get made at crew for them not listening.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
There were some crew members that went above and beyond and were always helping. Then there were the miserable one...or it appeared. This is our 9th NCL cruise and the first that has had crew not happy or at least fake it.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was always clean, design that’s another story. Rooms are bent allowing small walk spaces. Be aware (especially if sharing) the toilet and shower are separate glass enclosures by the front door (some may not like this). As o commented before very small pools for the amount of space...could have been larger.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We also stayed in a balcony 11043 the cabins are nice (curved) toilet and shower separate but enclosed in glass by the front door (works for some and not others).

Ship tip

Do not sail out of Puerto Rico, Do not sail unless it is the only ship doing the itinerary you want If you are good with everyone in cabin knowing you bathing and bathroom business, then this is the ship for you.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

1 out of 5
Never again, ignorant, selfish and unwilling to help.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Have to get in touch with Roan from Tender Too. Rent the boat for the day and do your own thing....there’s so much to do and ship excursions can’t even dent it.

Castries, St. Lucia

1 out of 5
Dirty and ignorant people. Very pushy and rude. I was told ignore the other people in our group and do what makes my kid happy. He’s 18 he’s not a baby. I wouldn’t waste my time on this island and we have been there 3 times. There’s the Anguilla brewery in port...stop by say hi and try their beer...only good thing in that port.

Willemstad, Curacao

2 out of 5
Walked around and got back on ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy
