We enjoyed our transatlantic cruise. The first week at sea was terrific because we relaxed and enjoyed the Epic. The second week we went to the many ports of call and enjoyed so many beautiful places. NCL really knows have to provide an amazing trip for people to enjoy.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the food in the main dining rooms. There were three sit down dining rooms we tried and enjoyed.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the fitness center primarily.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the evening activities which included a hypnotist, comedians, and shows. We also thoroughly enjoyed the lectures on the upcoming ports of call. It really helped us decide what we wished to do on those days.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service staff were exceptional. We had a terrific room steward (Gary), excellent waiters (Ward and Shyam).
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The Epic has a unique layout. It was fine except I think that the entertainment venues were too small for the amount of people who were on the ship. If you wanted to see a show you had to arrive at least 1/2 hour early in order to get a seat. It was also often difficult to get a seat in the atrium. The rooms were laid out well. We were not really fond of the bathroom set up but it was fine. We loved the big balcony and the outdoor bars up on the 16th floor where you could sit and watch movies or just have a quiet area. More outdoor bar sitting areas would be terrific.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size worked well and the balcony was a great size. It wasn't necessary for us to have the big couch in the room but I realize this was a pull out bed, so it was probably necessary. The room was kept very clean by our steward.
Ship tip
You will need to arrive at shows at least 1/2 hour early and make reservations early to enjoy all the entertainment.
Barcelona is a unique city with a lot of beautiful things to see at every turn. We stayed an additional 3 days and we saw a lot of things but need much more time to see the entire beautiful city.
