Review summary

Are cruise was shortened to a 5 day due to engine troubles. NCL was very generous with a 59% refund and future 50% credit. We still had a great time. Planning my next cruise on NCL.

Fast and simple. No waiting. It took approximately 25 minutes from drop off to walking into the ship

Food and Dining

All eating areas were very clean and staff was friendly. The food on NCL is fine. Not bad, but not great. Buffet had a good variety and lots of good options.

Onboard Activities

My kids really enjoyed the teen and kids clubs. I like to chill on a cruise, so I didn’t do too much, but the few things I did do were good. Climbing wall was fun for me and the kids. Trivia was fun. Salsa dancing was a lot of fun.

Entertainment

DJ’s were good Only saw the Beatles tribute and it was great.

We have four kids, 10,11,14 and 16. All had a good time in their different groups.

No complaints at all. Very friendly and attentive. I seriously did not have one negative experience.

Ship Quality

Layout was much better than the getaway and breakaway class. Pool deck was wide open inviting. Good sized sports court and arcade. It was weird that kids had to walk through the adults only spice H2O bar in order to get to the sports court. Oh well, not a big deal. The ship was well maintained and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

The bathroom. Watch a video on YouTube. Opaque glass is not enough privacy for showers for teenage girls and for bathroom trips. Did not like hearing my spouse urinating and ...... you know what. I didn’t like her hearing me either. It was nice to have the sink outside the bathroom. You can brush your teeth while spouse or kids take showers. Not a deal breaker, but weird.
