Review summary

Would possibly go on Norwegian again but not on the Epic. Even the Christmas decorations were cheapy cardboard cutouts pasted around the boat that you could have bought from the dollar store. Only redemption was the food & the 2 ports we were able to stop at. Having to book everything, when there was plenty of seating at all times in the Epic theater is ridiculous & time consuming.

Completely useless. Idea of putting on coats that others have used to sit in freezing space to drink was a horrible idea. People want to drink tropical drinks in the sunshine. Get rid of this & use space for something else.

Always pleasant place to eat. Servers excellent, wide variety of food. Washy, wasn’t, happy, happy.

Entertainment

We did not pay for any shows, but Burn The Floor & Priscilla Queen of the Desert were good. The warm up comedian was better than one of the actual performers (Guerre) who was not funny at all. We went to a marriage game also held in the comedy club which was cramped, overcrowded, & ran too long to be comfortable. The Beatles tribute was excellent.

H20 had no waiters walking the area & only 2 bartenders working the bar which made for long lines waiting for drinks. I see this is where you saved money on the drink package.

Ship Quality

Our balcony room was misshaped & cramped for 2 people. Having separate shower, toilet & sink facilities is odd & a waste of space. We did not need the mishappened couch thing in our room, but could have used more storage space.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cleanliness was fine, bed was comfortable enough, but square footage was tiny.

Ship tip

Check out your square footage of your balcony room before you book & be prepared to pay extra for things.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

The captain decided to skip this port due to weather, but we found out Disney boat which was mimicking our route stopped at their port in the Bahamas! Very disappointed no refund was offered.

The Epic is much too large and the crowds were unbelievable.
