Review summary

We were on a four day cruise and the entire time it was cold, rainy and very windy. We barely were able to sit at the pool.  In Nassau the sand on the beach was blowing so hard that we had to leave after about  one hour.  Also, we were supposed to go to the private island, which was canceled because of the weather. We ended up docked at the port in Nassau until the following afternoon. The only day we were able to sit outside comfortably was on our way back to port...that is until the wind started blowing hard again.  It was my daughters first cruise and she was mostly looking forward to going to the beach.

The cruise ship was nice and we enjoyed several of the activities, especially the Ice Bar. We understand that the cruise line can't do anything about the weather, but it was very disappointing.

Cabin was really nice. Cabin steward was not great when it came time to replace towels. Tissues, etc. we had to ask a few times for new beach towels and the room did not have enough towels for the two of us when we first went to the room.

Ship tip

Make sure you make your reservations for the specialty restaurants weeks before sailing. Also, make reservations for the Ice Bar the day you get on the ship.

who exactly are you complaining about, God? I am not sure any cruise line can alter the weather and it sounds like they tried by keeping you at Nassau. I am not saying it doesn't suck... but it can happen anywhere and anytime.
