Review summary
Our balcony cabin was beautiful, and the layout included separate shower, separate water closet, separate sink. Lots of storage space, and cozy lighting. The best thing about the cruise was the onboard entertainment. Burn the Floor and Priscilla Queen of the Desert were excellent and the theatre has no obstructed seats, so every seat is great. The food was wonderful and service was polite and efficient. The ship itself was beautiful; but very awkwardly laid out. Only two banks of elevators forward and aft. Our cabin was in the middle of the ship, and so we walked a lot. Not that that is a bad thing; we needed the exercise, but someone with limited mobility would not like this ship very much. The bar on the pool deck was always understaffed for the number of people by the pool. Debarkation for people with carry on bags was a nightmare. Everyone crowed the gangways at once and it was clear the ship had no idea how many people would choose the option of carrying their own bags off the ship. It was a very frightening experience, as everyone was directed through just one gangway. A ship this large should have more than one gangway. Overall, the cruise itself was wonderful, and on our last night, we attended the Cirque du Solei dinner show, and it was fantastic, funny, entertaining, and delicious filet mignon. Very much worth the very reasonable ad on price.
