Review summary

Teh ship was beautiful, the restaurants were great, now on this ship, you must book your restaurants and events way before you get on the cruise or else you will not get to go to the blueman group, the legens in concert, the circus d soleil, and some of the restaurants as they sell out fast and you are only allowed to watch them one night out of the whole cruise, since there are so many people wanting to see them and to eat at these restaurants. The Manhattan room is the free restaurant and they have great food every night, the irish pub is a great alternative if you want to eat any time of the day

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
the food was great, the specialty restaurants good, we had no problems whatsoever finding something we liked and I am the pickiest person in the world, the only flaw they have on this aspect, is I am a dessert person, and dang you could not even get a real piece of cake, everything is cheese cake or mooses, I hate that, but they had some cookies at lunch so I survived

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The check in process was really fast and the rooms cleaned so quickly that we could get in early, the departure program was great, we didn't even have to wait and the shore excursions were set up superb, they really knew how to get the job done

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
On this ship, every crew member was happy and great to speak with, I always saw them smiling

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship has a great setup and you never have to hunt where things are, the casino is set up cool, it is set up in 4 pieces it looks like and there is a lot to do, my only drawback is they didn't let me win haha, but overall everything was nice and set up great

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
the ship has one major flaw and everyone complains about it, the rooms were set up so strange, they are curved rooms, but they have tons of extra storage space, the drawback is the toilet is in a seperate little room with a glass door, the shower is seperate with a glass door and it is across the hall from bathroom and sink is outside, you better be comfortable with the person you room with because you have no privacy whatsoever, you can see and hear everything, they need to take the toilet area and put walls around it with a fan inside, I mean comeon somethings are suppose to be private, you don't have to share EVERYTHING with your spouse

Ports of call

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

3 out of 5
we did Florence on your own, there is always so much to see, the cathedrals are always great to see

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
this place was great also

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

5 out of 5
this place is quite modern and really pretty, in fact we have seen it before about 12 years ago and my husband actually wants to get a home there a stay part of the year, it is so pretty and peaceful

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
Rome has the most wonderful things, the vatican, st. peters vacilica, the parthenon, we saw so many wonderful things
Don't Miss: The Vatican

Pros: I love visiting Rome the most

Cons: the set up of the rooms on the epic

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!
