Review summary

Overall loved the cruise. Biggest downside was the room was very narrow and the layout was awkward. I think the pool area was great for people traveling with children or young teens. Wish there would have been more older teens on our cruise. I loved that there were no set seating times for dinner. Would have liked to have tried more of the specialty restaurants, however, all the 'extras' really add up fast making this itinerary very expensive!! Entertainment was excellent!!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Staterooms were very narrow. Not a lot of privacy in the bathroom/shower area.

Ports of call

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

Went into Palma, didn't feel up to another tour.

Naples, Italy

3 out of 5
Went down the Amalfi Coast to Positano and Sorrento. Came back to Pompei. Beautiful area! Again, lots of driving... an additional hour at port would have helped!

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

3 out of 5
We did a private car to Rome. Much too much to do in one day. An additional hour in port would have helped tremendously with planning tours in Rome, keeping in mind that the port is more than an hour from the city.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

3 out of 5
We chose to go to Cinque Terre and Pisa.

Pros: Freestyle Dining

Cons: Staterooms were too narrow; not enough privacy
