I booked this ship thinking it was similar to Bliss. I was disappointed because decor was somewhat austere for my liking. There were flaws on the construction/assembly of the ship, the hallways to cabins had deeps and unevenness where the sections of the ship were put together making it dangerous if you’re not aware of it. Disappointing for a brand new ship.

Overall the cruise was ok. Would not book again especially on a big ship!

Out of 10 cruises that I've taken over the last few years, I'd say this was my #1. The ship itself, the staff and all of the things to do onboard were top shelf!

What a great cruise. Just got off the Encore Jan 26th sailing ending Feb 2nd. We had one inside and one balcony. Great service, entertainment shows, VR, and events. The pool area was busy but we still got three chairs to share everyday we wanted it(but I did hear people complain about it all week so maybe we were just lucky). Drinks at the bar and pool side was very good. We just ordered anytime we saw the server to stay ahead of empty drinks. We took unopened beers to the room all the time to keep a stash in our fridge. There was some wait at the elevators during peak times. Please remember there are two elevator banks of 4...so press both buttons when waiting a few feet away from each other. We got the go-kart-pass. Well worth the extra $200/each x 3(limited to about 20 per cruise, not sure they sold out). We got on any time we wanted. They accommodate up to 4 express passes per round. The kid got about 30ish rounds in the week and I estimate about 20-ish for the week. Really so much fun. The shore excursion perk credit was not really helpful as it is only $50/cabin per day. We did our own excursion which was much cheaper and just us. (Taxi to the beach). The only time the credit worked for us was at Great Stups Cay, you can rent equipment ($16 floaty)or a covered chair (clam shell cover $40). First time this perk helped us as it covered the items above. We stumbled on this information out of pure luck and wish I had read about it before hand in other reviews. Almost screwed ourselves without knowing it by charging the wrong cabin without the perk. The weather was fantastic and very calm compared to previous weeks I read about. We really avoid line ups so really did not have any lines that I can remember being longer that a few people for anything. I have nothing negative to say. We loved every minute of it. Had a great time on the cruise line. This was our first Norwegian Cruise and did live up to expectations. Would cruise with them again.

Overall, pretty good but I’m not inclined to book this ship again because of all the extra charges and lack of public space. I like NCL, but will book other ships. Food is always good on NCL.

The great service, cleanliness, and amazing food quality on a beautiful ship were the highlights of our wonderful Caribbean cruise.

The ship blew us away. It was beautiful! The crew was incredibly friendly and professional. The food and drinks were unforgettable.

New ship, but most of the bugs seem worked out. While heavily populated (4000 guests!) never really seemed over crowded. Elevators are a challenge at peak times, especially in fore (so go to the aft ones and walk a little more). Would take this ship again.

Overall, great experience. The captain had such a great sense of humor. The service was exceptional, you can tell this is a very seasoned team.

All in all a good cruise, Good wifi (wife had to work a bit). Food and service all good.

Very relaxing is that not what vacation is all about. That’s the best compliment I can give to the Encore Staff. I did not want for anything.

The Encore is a great ship and the crew is fantastic. However, I would not cuise it again unless my kids are with me because all the sun decks have disappeared to make room for activities ( racetrack, laser tag,...)

A great relaxing cruise with great food, a never ending flow of drinks and fantastic entertainment. The cruise director Silas made sure that every moment was enjoyable and put in a great cruise. Make sure you check out both Chior of Man and Kinky Boots. Don't miss the fun game shows in the atrium and the pool deck!

The Encore is our new favorite ship and this was our favorite cruise experience ever! No cruise will ever be perfect but this was as close as we would expect.

Nothing good. Too crowded, did not know what was going on. Bar by atrium closed 12, piani bar did not play every night

Nice new ship but not enough deck space. Pool deck is small and crowded. Go-kart track and laser tag, as well as Haven sun deck and vibe beach club take up most of the space. Go karts and laser tag can not be booked prior to cruise. They have to be booked once you get on the ship and sell out fast- we could not get a time slot by the end of embarkation day. Food was excellent and there were plenty of good drinks to be had. District Brew house had something like 20 beers on tap and more in bottles (included in the beverage package). Los Lobos and Cagney’s were excellent. Service was worse than average, new ship with new rules so many people at guest services had no idea what they were doing. Shows were average. Kids club is small and uninspiring (thank god for iPhones). Internet hardly worked. At the end of the cruise, my overall sentiment is that I just got nickeled and dimed, baited and switched, and I’m going to stick to RCCL from now on.
