We love NCL and are Platinum members. It was not our favorite ship but was a great cruise!

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
There were a great variety of cuisines in the numerous restaurants. My husband and I, on this 7 day cruise, had dinner in the Manhattan Room (complimentary) only 3 nights. The food was delicious but the service was not up to the standards of other NCL dining rooms.
The other four nights we dined in the Specialty restaurants. Cagney’s was amazing as usual. Los Lobos’ Latin cuisine was wonderful and plentiful! Teppanyaki was fun with delicious Asian food but my stomach revolted afterwards due to the incredible amount of butter the chef used to cook the meal. Onda, the new Italian restaurant, was lovely and upscale. The meals were artfully prepared and delicious. The service in all four was outstanding! We did miss La Cucina though.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pool, slide. This ship did not have as many activities at the pool are or atrium as other NCL ships we’ve sailed on (9). We missed being able to do Zumba by the pool each morning and line dancing by the pool and atrium. They were offered far less than on other ships.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We loved all the entertainment and entertainers! Kinky Boots was just as good this time as last when we saw it. The same for Beatles Invasion! Alex, who played John, also played John on another cruise. Choir of Man was outstanding!!! We also had seen this on another ship and loved it both times. The comedians made us laugh till our faces hurt! The Temperature Band was great too! We really wished that the Encore had Howl At the Moon. That’s one of our favorites on the large ships.
Children's Programs
We didn’t have children with us.
Service and Staff

Our room steward Brussel DMello was wonderful. The Cruise Director Dan Dan was great fun too.
Ship Quality

We loved the spaciousness of the pool deck! The observation lounge was beautiful and serene!
We thought there could be more shops on board.
Everything was super clean!
Cabin / Stateroom

Perfect!
Ship tip
Poolside chairs are a premium! Get out early if you want one.
We didn’t do an excursion but explored on our own staying overnight before flying home. We went to Little Havana to shop and dine. Loved it! We took Ubers. Very easy!
We did not do the excursion because chairs, umbrellas and food and drinks were all included as if you were on the ship! Great beach day!
My only suggestion is that NCL give everyone a map of the island because we walked all over and never found the Straw Market to purchase gifts.
We like St. Thomas very much. This was our fourth time there. We did the Discover St. Thomas and Magens Bay because we had another couple with us who had never been. It’s worth it for first timers but there’s not enough beach time. Next time we’ll just take a cab to the beach.
This was the only port we had never been to before. We had such a great day! We hope to return here again!
We did the Ocean World Day Pass and Dominican Adventure excursion. It was well worth it! We really had so much fun watching the show with dolphins, sea lions, birds, and sharks; and we didn’t have any kids with us! LOL a lunch buffet was included and quite good.
