Review summary

Norwegian started and ended my cruise terribly. Firstly, one of my excursions was cancelled a MONTH before the cruise but they didn't bother to inform me and all the other excursions were sold out once I was on the ship. That sucked. Going to Alaska and not being able to go whale watching was a HUGE disappointment. Then they completely failed at the end. I used the Port Valet service to get my bag to the airport. They had 7 HOURS to get my bag to the airport and they failed. It did not make it in time for my flight. Contacting customer service is a joke - they don't have a phone number, you have to email them. I have been passed around to 3 different companies Norwegian has tried to blame for the mistake. They refuse to take responsibility themselves and reimburse me for my airport transfer. If you are offering the service you are advocating for them, you are saying it's ok and we can trust them and you should take responsibility when they mess up. Norwegian doesn't care about customer service at all. They are untrustworthy, irresponsible, and I will never cruise with them again.

We are on a NCL Alaska cruise currently. Yes excursion get cancelled on EVERY cruise line, especially in these times. Considering NCL is only cruising at 50 to 60 % capacity our experience has been that there was a huge number of excursions available even on the day of port. Sorry you did not have a good experience but I cannot say that about NCL. Hope the next cruise goes better.

It's too bad that you had what you consider to be a bad experience with ncl. That being said, if port valet screwed up, that part should be on port valet. What does that have to do with their responsibility to reimburse you for your airport transfer.... Unless you booked that airport transfer on ncl. As far as they're accusations of them being untrustworthy and irresponsible, could you expound on that? I'm thinking there is more than one side to this story. However in the long run it's your choice whether to cruise with them or not. I have always been able to get a hold of them and had any issues quickly taken care of.

That is too bad. I've been on 30 NCL cruises and never experienced anything like this review. Always more information is needed to back up all these claims.

Uhm. That literally SUCKS!! I always wanted to give this cruise line a try. Now I’m NOT so sure about it.
