Review summary

It was a really nice cruise. We did have a good time. If you are a smoker beware, there are only 2 smoking areas on the ship. One is a long box type room on deck 8 outside. The other is in the closed in smoking area of the casino. If the casino is closed, then you are stuck to the area on deck 8.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Process was quick and easy; no issues.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was very good in all areas; no complaints. Even the food in the buffet was very good. Tough finding a seat in buffet area during busy times.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Activities were great; but they all had a fee. $15/ride for the Speedway; $8 per ride in the VR pavilion; not sure on the price of the Laser Tag.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Didn't get to many shows; comedian was not good; Kinky Boots was cancelled the night we planned to go. Live music was incredible!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our 12 year old loved the kid's area; was there in the afternoon and evenings until late.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was great; room steward (Donna Lee) was awesome!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful, clean and the ship was easy to navigate without getting lost. One downfall were the elevators . . . . spent a lot of time waiting for them. Taking the stairs was the best option.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was a good size; had a Pullman so that worked out great. It left us with the sofa to use. Bathroom was fabulous!

Ship tip

If you or kids are interested in the activities look into a week long pass ($199 for each), but it might be worth it. Reserve any specialty dining first day.

We stayed on the ship.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
We spent the day at Sapphire Beach; it was beautiful.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

3 out of 5
We just walked around the port area.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

3 out of 5
We stayed on the ship; there was only a beach there. We wanted to enjoy the ship without all of the crowds.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Long line to get off, but that was expected. It went quickly. Immigration was a breeze. There were plenty of taxis to take us back to the airport, didn't need to wait at all.
