Smooth and painless

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The three complimentary restaurants we dined in were the MDR, Savor and Taste all of which had fabulous menu choices and in some cases, better tasting than their specialty restaurant counterparts.

Cagney's Steakhouse

4 out of 5

We ate here on back to back nights in anticipation for their fine Steakhouse entrees. My husband ordered the Porterhouse and Prime Rib which he gave 5 stars, however being a seafood fan, I reluctantly chose the only dish without an up charge (both Lobster and crab were extra $$) shrimp skewers which were mediocre at best. The following night wasn't much better since they over cooked my filet mignon, so I'd rate it 3 stars giving it a grand average of 4 out of 5 stars.

The District Brew House

4 out of 5

Fun Roadhouse style pub offering comedy/music acts

Q Texas Smokehouse

5 out of 5

This is hands down the best barbecue experience on the ship. The pecan pie is divine and they actually serve you Tex Mex style crab cakes at no extra charge.

Onda by Scarpetta

5 out of 5

Possibly the best pizza which was the largest appetizer I have ever had!

Service and Staff

Top notch service with a smile:)

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Brand spanking shiny and new

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We stayed in 11740 balcony that we "won" on an upgrade bid. However if you have long legs, be prepared to bang into everything including the bed just to get to your balcony and the sofa which partially blocks your closet. You'd be better off in a spacious ocean view room.

Ship tip

Reserve as much as you possibly can online prior to your cruise as venue space is limited.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
We stayed in charming Coral Gables at the Hyatt

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
Would have loved more time to explore this port (we arrived close to 6PM), but it is beautiful at night.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
This was an unexpected gift from NCL added to our original itinerary and our favorite port of call on this trip

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Gorgeous island

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

3 out of 5
Paled in comparison to St Thomas which was a tough act to follow. Not an ideal township to take a leisurely stroll through. Take an excursion either to a beach or another isle instead.
