Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Choices galore!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
First rate. Varied and absolutely fantastic. A manor reason we choose MCL

Children's Programs

Former cruises with our grandson and he lived the kids program at 12 years old

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cruise Next was so patient with explaining options. Room steward attentive but we rarely needed to request a thing.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Always fresh linens

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Tend to get motion sickness and chose lower deck mid ship. ZERO need for meds and very smooth ship even with hurricane Dorian on our heels.

Ship tip

Entertainment alone is worth the sailing.

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
Hop on hop off bus/tour a great way to see any port for the first time.

Newport, Rhode Island

5 out of 5
Visit at least one mansion. Can take city bus thru town, hop off for cliff walk and Breakers tour, then back on us to meander in town and take in the Tennis Hall of Fame

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
Hop on hop off bus. Visit Old Ironsides and lunch of lobster our clam chowder.

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
Lovely town. Fire Engine trolly tour and walk town.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Loved this town! Easy walking around town and tons of areas to sit and view the sea or shop great prices.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Bigger than expected. Lovely city by the sea.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

2 out of 5
Two blocks of little to do. Lovely residents and o Low prices at boutique and pharmacy but too little to be a port to stop in. Wish it was omitted...

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island Did not visit port

Hurricane Dorian called off this stop

La Baie, Quebec

1 out of 5
A total waste of time. NOTHING worth the stop. Of Hop on hop off bus tour guides ( 3 guides, 3 busses) NONE had functioning head phone / mics. All were only soeaking to a few riwn of passengers who could hear. Even after requesting they at least speak from center or bus. Why this tiwn us even a cruise port stop is a mystery. A real waste of time and tour money.

Quebec City, Quebec

5 out of 5
FANTASTIC Magnificent, Grande city. Put on your best walking shoes and enjoy all it has to offers for your senses!

Disembarkation

For La Baie, we did not expect anything special because of the reviews. But found out there's a city hop on/off bus, with on board narrator, that take you to further away from the port; and you can take 2 routes with one ticket. Saw some historical places and had fun. I found it a very pleasant surprise and a bonus. City is neat and people friendly.
