Review summary

I think all cruises are good and overall it is hard to complain about a wonderful vacation. However this was not my favorite ship due to the design, the staff in many areas were not as friendly, and the food and service overall was not as good as we have experienced in the past.

We were surprised by the service throughout the ship. There were some excellent waiters but there were many that were not friendly.

Very clean but hard to get from one end to another. The gift shop was almost hidden and I thought the ship's layout was odd on many floors.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very, very small and only one plug in! Bathrooms were small and would be very uncomfortable if you were a larger person. We were with a group of 12 and everyone noticed the same things. We have been on many cruises and these cabins were unusually small but clean.

Been on the Dawn 3 times and it was fantastic. You are right about the layout. We thought the food was excellent we ate most meals at the two free restaurants only a couple of times at the buffet and the staff we had was amazing.

The Buffet is a disaster. The flow is horrible. Food was average in main dining and specialty. NCL will not see us again. We have taken over 65 cruises over the years. The ship was among the worst lay out. The good was my grandsons had a blast and plenty of ice cream
