We had a great time. There were a great variety of ports and many excursion options. The ship was clean and the food was good. I can’t wait to sail back on Norwegian and back to these ports and try new things
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was pretty painless, no long waits or anything.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We only ate in the dining room once. The food there was decent. The specialty restaurants were very good. The Italian can vary with quality on some ships but this was one of the good ones. The Cagneys is amazing and my favorite a usual and is very filling. The garlic truffle fries were kind of soggy though.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The pools were not overly crowded but there was a fight for seats at the pool as to be expected on a school break cruise. The onboard activities were fun. There was always something to do.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The live music at the pool was good. The performances at night were great. The parties were also fun to be at.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone on this ship is a hard worker and is friendly. The room steward always said hi to us in the hall.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was pretty clean and maintained. The buffet is a little dirty but that is about it.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was huge, it was full of luxury’s and a amazing bath tub. We even brought a bath bomb onboard and used it in the tub like our own personal spa. We were always comfortable. The pull out couches were a little uncomfortable but. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever laid down in.
We stayed in Puerto Rico as our embarkation port.I love it here. We stayed in the Hyatt house, it was very close to the port (not the old San Juan port) and was very clean and spacious. For dinner we ate at a delicious restaurant called casito de rones. It was delicious and we had a view of the old San Juan pier. There is a little distance to the town and I would recommend taking a tour.
We booked a scenic rail ride through Norwegian. It was amazing and we got some beautiful pictures. They brought a choir onboard to sing and they had some delicious drinks. Either non alcoholic or alcoholic.
St Maarten is an amazing port. This time we did a regatta tour. It was an unbelievable experience and I would recommend it. The captain was great and we ended up winning the race! There is a huge port area with shops and restaurants. We ended up eating at the greenhouse restaurant.
The port has lots of shops and places to walk. We order tickets to paradise points and to the ski lift up and got some amazing pictures of the port and ship.
