This was a very enjoyable 11-day cruise on NCL to Key West, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman.

The Tampa Pier Terminal has good access and is not too congested.
The embarkation crowd peaked between noon and 2 pm.
It took about an hour to get through the process and on-board the ship.

The Venetian, one of the two main dining rooms on board the Dawn, was excellent.
The Garden Cafe offered daily buffets that were very good and had adequate capacity.
The specialty restaurants, especially Cagney's, Le Bistro, Moderno, Tepanyaki, Bamboo, and O'Sheehan's were all excellent.

We like the mid-size ships for relaxing, adult cruise experiences.
Spent the night at the Sheraton River Walk and had an excellent experience. Visited the Henry Plant Museum at Tampa University, The Museum of Modern Art, and went to Phantom of the Opera at the Straz Center. It was delightful to walk along the river walk. The hotel offered free shuttle service to the Pier which was just a few blocks away.
Walked-off pulling our own luggage after we ate a leisurely breakfast at approx 10 am and it was great.
Did not take long to get through customs and out the door for a fairly quick pick-up. Tampa port is an overall good experience.
