Fantastic family cruise!

This was a fantastic vacation! We continue to be impressed with NCL and constantly comment on how surprising it is to see some of the negative reviews. 

We cruised with a 6,  8 & 10 year old who loved the Splash Academy Program.  They participated a lot which allowed nice quiet time throughout the vacation. Definitely take advantage if you can. 

Ship was in great shape and a refurb in the Spring  will make it even better. Very clean and well maintained.  While pool area could get crowded,  plenty of lounges are available throughout the upper deck.  We only did Goffs Caye in Belize and enjoyed the peaceful pool area during port days. 

Food was fantastic. All food! Breakfast and lunch at garden cafe, all specialty dining restaurants were great as was the main dining room. We ate a lot! 

We were lucky to get a great deal on a suite including beverage and dining package (plus other perks).  The whole family took full advantage. Beverage package was great!  Bar service throughout the ship was great.  Never had trouble getting a drink, whether at a bar, in theater,  by pool,  even at kiddie pool, one day the beverage manager walked through asking if anyone needed a drink! 

Entertainment, as many comment, is excellent. We saw about 50% of shows, but all were very good (magician, Elements,  second City etc). Lots of music through ship during evening.  Pool band was great. 

Service was impressive as well. All staff and crew were friendly and helpful.  Never had an issue, only positive experiences.  Were particularly impressed that our cabin steward knew us all by name (without being introduced)  as did a maitre d at la cucina for my daughter's birthday. She had a nice greeting when we arrived. 

Get to the ship early on Sunday if you can. Lunch starts at 12pm! Enjoy the cruise and seek out the positives because there were so many on the ship!  We can't wait to go next year! Already booked!
