Review summary

NCL wise to refurbish Dawn. Western Carribean itinerary outstanding. Food was great in both dining rooms and buffet. Even std room is effectively designed to maximize storage and function. Interior design is mis-match and result is chopped up design. 2600 passengers always lost due to poor signage sadly funny to watch. 2nd City entertainment great. Overall good cruise for value. Hopefully May refurb will improve ship shortcomings.

Food in dining rooms and Garden Cafe buffet great. Better than Carnival or Holland America. Dining rm service, however, incobsistent.

2nd City events outstanding. Production show dancers and singers really good too.

Noli in Aqua dining rm outstanding. Garden Cafe staff very prompt in clearing and cleaning tables. Alex, the Internet Mgr very helpful.

Ship Quality

Ship definitely needs refurbishment planned in May. Current design is chopped up, and signage is poor at best. Current interior design not coordinated well.

Great design of small space. Good storage space for basic room. Heard multiple guests complain re: hard beds.

Ship tip

Great itinerary. NCL staff generally quietly efficient which makes for pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Hopefully ship shortcomings will be better after May refurbishment.
