Would not do it again and the ship excursions waste most of your day.

The Breakaway seemed crowded compared to the Joy. The Joy has a huge observation point on deck 17 where some Haven suites are. It spans across the entire front of deck 17 with food and snacks furnished all day long. Also beautifully furnished. To us, the layout on the Joy is much better. Food was equal but, the Breakaway lobster tails were very very salty. Heard the same from many guests.

I would choose another ship and I am selling my cruise next credits.

It was a rough sail for a few days. That must be the reason for all the rude behavior. Never been on a cruise with so many "entitled" .

We had a good time. Food was very good. Cruise director could have been more involved in PA announcements of daily activities, as happens on other NCL and other cruise line ships.

Very relaxing and I saw an orca whale breach and a dolphin, both verified by a steward!

The cruise was decent but not geared towards solo travelers. Difficult to get into the pool or hot tub because of the amount of people. Food was good.

NCL Breakaway is a lovely ship, but the pool is very small. The folks who fit there had fun, but it is dramatically smaller than most ship pool areas.

I like NCL a lot. Good value for your money. Especially with the drinks being included.

This was our 32nd Wedding Anniversary cruise. We had Chocolate covered Strawberries delivered to our room the day of arrival and on our Anniversary which was Valentines Day. They were delicious!! Then in the dinning room they sang a song and presented a delicious cake to us. They made it very special. I loved the band Mystic and Burn the Floor dancers were fantastic!!! Couldn't get reservations to the Velvet show, but everyone said it was good.

Not enough stops and too many people. Food was good but avoid the buffet.

The good points were: coffee pots in room, plenty of tables at the buffet, entertainment was very professional, diverse. Mystic Magic band was outstanding.

Please add kids program info to the app. It was great having an app with schedules and reservations etc but it never had ANY kids program info listed. This was a huge disappointment. Service and food quality has certainly declined. Otherwise it was a great trip. Beautiful cabin and balcony, our favorite part of the ship! Didn't like the smoke in the atrium interior of ship, due to the casino. Please make all interiors smoke free. Great job handling special needs, my child has autism but had a great time! Communication was poor however... had a private boat drill but then told we didn't show up when we did. Terrible service at cagney's and said they would make it up to us but never did/no follow through. Frequency of guest services blunders was frustrating and disappointing. Love cruising and love NCL but there was a noticeable decline from previous cruise experiences.

This ship was so crowded, venues were small so you needed reservations and if you don’t have them good luck seeing a show. If you didn’t need reservations there was no place to sit. The theater in front of the ship was small, very plain looking and was barely used. Food was good and staff was very friendly. No more sailing on this size ship.

Best first cruise. I cant wait to go again! So glad the cruise lines are up and running again!

Hadn't been on NCL for a year and they have definitely cut back on food quality. Their larger ship design is far inferior to RCL.

There were lots of good things about the cruise (good ports, great food, excellent entertainment), but some negatives (no bringing beverages of any kind aboard, no chair in our cabin) that will make me think twice about another cruise with NCL.

I’m concerned, but otherwise enjoyable. I would most likely recommend this cruise.

My first time on Norwegian Cruise Line. The Breakaway is designed poorly - smoke permeates the common areas even when the ship is in port. I suspect that the crew gets used to it, but the occasional traveler does not - and can not. One and done for me.
