Had a great time. The cruise is what you make it, regardless of the ship!
Embarkation

Slow and a bit chaotic.
Ship experiences

Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Prepare to wait for things. Ship layout is not great for that amount of passengers, especially if it is raining on a sea day.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Top notch. Loved every show! Syd Norman's Pour House is a must. Doors open 45 minutes prior to show, you should be lining up at least 15 minutes before that if you want a seat! Performances are great!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff is wonderful. Our room attendant was mediocre, but that didn't really affect our fun.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Was not crazy about the design of the atrium because the casino is around that area and it's open, therefore, all three levels smell like an ashtray that needs emptied. The rest of the ship was fine, but everything felt crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Cabin was okay, had a weird smell and there were cherrios on the floor. The balcony was tiny and covered in white paint chips.
Ship tip
Be prepared to wait in lines for a lot things. Just get to things early. The Waterfront deck is a wonderful place to chill. See all the shows! There are amazingly talented people on this ship!
Beautiful, but you're drink package doesn't apply even though it's an NCL private area. Snorkeling excursion was fantastic! People there are wonderful.
You are spot on.......a cruise IS what a person makes of it good or bad. I have been on 40 cruises and have yet to that perfect cruise where a hiccup or let down didn't happen. I, unlike most, will not let trivial issues ruin the cruise. When people post that it was the worst cruise ever because there was no turn down service and chocolate on the pillow, I can imagine how they handle something that truly matters. I enjoy cruising and unless the cruise ship is in danger of sinking or some other tragedy, anything less is just an "oppps" and I continue to enjoy the cruise.
