Review summary

This was a big booze and druggie cruise. Some guy dropped something in my daughter’s drink and Norwegian had us pay for the drug test! Ridiculous.

Garden Grill - fresh, varied. Savor- only quiet place to eat complimentary on ship. Manhattan Room - dance floor, jazz with dinner. Classy atmosphere.

Only one pool - very loud music played all day til midnight. Ropes course was fun. Only 2 shuffleboards and always a long wait.

Very sexual programming. LOUD drums, bass guitars that took away from skilled dancers.

Location in center of ship was nice but the nightly loud music from bar and breakaway theatre below and daily loud music from pool above was annoying.

Ship tip

Demand a forward cabin, middle and aft are very loud!

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

10 hour guided tour to Florence & Pisa was a hustle at $400 each. Would recommend booking museum on your own for 1/2 the cost. We only had 20 minutes at Pisa. Guide spent way too much time telling and showing us about his “friends” that wanted to sell us things.

Disembarkation

Norwegian really pushes their $75/person bus ride at the crack of Dawn to the airport. We were last group to leave ship and took train on our own for $15 to airport.

I did notice they chose a GTY (Guaranteed) cabin. This category offers no privileges; cabin location is at the sole discretion of the cruise line. From my experience, GTY cabins are the left over and cancelled cabins.

No details on the drug test results? No details on the "sexual programming"? At least they seemed to enjoy most of the cruise.
