Good trip with great friends. As far as the cruise it had several problems.

Review summary

It is always nice to be on a cruise. When we got home all four of us contacted Covid.

Embarkation

We have been on cruises after Covid. The process should always be staggered. We were in a holding area with all the people getting on the ship in one area it was horrendous. We were asked when we wanted to board and we wait 3 1/2 hours. It was terrible. It needs to go back to staggered times and not everyone waiting to go on the ship. Not thousands of people in one room.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The main dining room room was fine. It was plentiful. We did go after a show and it was only pizza and chips. Went to Ocean Blue our reservations were at 8:30 it was awful. The worst ever. My husbands broiled food came out like rubber. It was awful. Our second speciality dining was Cagney. Excellent. That time was 7:30. Steaks were excellent. Went to the Manhattan room a couple of nights. It was very good. Entertainment was nice. Excellent

Onboard Activities

The Spice H2O was where I really wanted to lay out. It was great for a few hours. The big problem is first of all the speakers were out not working no music. I don’t know why there would be no music. The big screen and was worthless. You can put movies on up there listen to music but nothing. Then they tried to put what was going on at the main pool and the words were on and off and unbearable. Had to leave. Wen to the mail ADULT pool. Well of course children were in the pool. Also the only pool the main pool very small. This is definitely the last cruise on the breakaway.

Entertainment

We went to Burn the Floor. Never a problem with the entertainment. Also went to Howl at the moon. It would be nice if Norwegian would get plays like RC.

Service and Staff

I rate this poor for the very first time ever for a cruise. This was the first our room service was bad. The room was never cleaned at the same time. One time we had no towels. That has never happened before. Bar service at the Shakers, casino bar was great.

Ship Quality

Ship was clean. Very maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was great. We upgraded because of the bathroom. Shower was impeccable. Friends room was the same lay out but their bed was close to the balcony and it seemed like they had more room that layout 10792 I liked that lay out.

Ship tip

Enjoy

It was fine. Enjoyed the area.

Harvest Caye, Belize

This is not a Norwegian Private island. The government and Norwegian has a contract. There is an agreement. I understand that but if it was like the other private island You can have a great time and no money out of pocket but here you can’t use you card. It’s ridiculous. In the other private island it is packed and very nice. Here hardly no one was out there. So no one really makes out. What we should have done was do the excursion off this island.

Cozumel, Mexico

We love Cozumel. Great port.

Again, what a joke. Stagger times to leave the ship. We leave but you go all the way around the ship to get out. Doesn’t make sense.
