The cruise was fantastic, there is almost always something to do for everyone!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Getting on the ship was a breeze! Had all our documents and it went without a hitch!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Nobody does dining like Norwegian, that’s for sure! The selection is large and the dining packages are well worth it!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The Spice H2O area (adults only) was wonderful and not usually too crowded! We did the Harry Potter trivia and it was a challenge indeed! Overall, there is a ton of things to do!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Rock of Ages was amazing as well as Burn the Floor! We saw the latter on the last night and were a little skeptical about even attending. It was brilliant, glad we didn’t skip!!
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff were glad to help and not a single one was rude!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Never noticed anything dirty! We did, however, keep forgetting what floor we were on and which end of the boat we needed to be to get each place. This was easily resolved by the maps at each elevator location!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very large balcony, plenty of room in the cabin, and the bathroom was wonderful with two sinks and a full shower!
Ship tip
The front of the ship is pretty quiet, the back is where you can feel the engines running for sure.
Port was a bit spread out, not a ton of shopping but plenty of souvenir options. Did the Monkey River Eco Tour and it was very interesting and informative! BRING BUG SPRAY FOR THIS EXCURSION. I can not stress this enough.
Went to Chaccoben Ruins and it was a very informative tour! Port was hard to maneuver, kind of chaotic and easy to get turned around. Most of the souvenir shops are circular and small. People (shop owners/workers) are somewhat pushy.
Went on the Three Reef Snorkel by Boat excursion! It was gorgeous and very organized! The Norwegian port for this location was kind of strange. You have to go up an escalator to get to the shops, which has a bottom story as well. The people are extremely pushy (think of those middle kiosks in the mall where they will walk up to you and keep asking you to come look at their product.) The last time we visited Cozumel was on Royal Caribbean and it seems like a much better port but can not be sure because our excursion took up almost all of our time from Royal Caribbean’s location.
It was kind of a madhouse. I believe the ship was not allowed to disembark until later than originally planned and they had to shut down elevators from stopping on the floor to get off the ship. Overall, we made it off and had plenty of time to catch our 12 noon flight.
