I probably will Not book with Norwegian Cruise Lines again. We have been doing cruises for over 10 years and every other Cruise Line has been one to remember. I will still remember our Norwegian Cruise this September 2019, but not in a good way.

Review summary

We have cruised 8 times with other cruise lines. September 2019 was the first with Norwegian. Will probably never again, unless they start treating all guests equally. We paid including taxes and tips around 3000.00, yet in order to enjoy a fancy decent meal, we had to Pay for the fancier restaurants. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!! AND I AM FURIOUS ABOUT THIS!!!!!!, ROSA OSBORN

Didn't expect to feel as an outcast. Since your were not privileged to have meals at certain restaurants, UNLESS we paid extra to enjoy better food. At one time we had dinner in one of the restaurants, to our surprise, my husband ordered steak. HE GOT A SIDE OF FRENCH FRIES!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!

The outside was okay, although it rained most of the time. I can't say for the FANCY restaurants as we felt banned unless we paid extra to be part of a good meal. We had BUFFET 6 days of the cruise!!!!!!! NOT RIGHT!!!!!!

Our Steward kept it nice and clean. NO towel animal ): the entire cruise.

TREAT ALL PASSENGERS EQUAL!!!!!! Otherwise, we will NEVER again. We felt outsiders whom paid a pretty penny to not enjoy good food!!!!

Yea, the steak frites comes with fries, it’s an actual dish. It’s very popular in Europe, and considered my many as the national dish in Belgium. Don’t knock NCL because you didn’t know what you were ordering.

We’ve eaten in both the specialty restaurants as well as main dining rooms & have always been treated the same. Curious as to why you didn’t try the main dining rooms that are available for no up charge. The buffet x 6 days would be a bit much for us as well.

Most all cruise lines have up charges for specialty restaurants. This should be no surprise. I've never felt like an outsider for not having specialty dining. That just bizarre to hear someone feeling that way. To each their own I guess...

I’m not sure how much you have cruised before, but additional costs for specialty restaurants is not unique to Norwegian. It has become the norm across most mainstream cruise lines (Carnival, Royal Caribbean, etc) over the last 10 years.

When you book your cruise you are asked in the deals if you want them. We have in our deal 3 nights of fine dining so it's not discrimination. All ships have a choice to buy fine dining

Taste, Savor, and Manhattan are included sit-down venues... the food isn't great, but probably better than the buffet.
