We loved the cruise and the boat. Only issue which is huge for a celiac is the lack of allergen info at the all food places. The general staff was not educated on food allergies.

Food and Dining

I have Celiacs and for me finding safe food w/o cross contamination was difficult. Only one restaurant had a labeled menu with a few choices. No allergy info anywhere else.I did inform my booking agent of the severity of my allergy to gluten and my mothers to shell fish. But it made no difference.Everyone else enjoyed all the food.

Bed was comfortable. Cabin was clean and kept clean Aqualena. Size average to balcony suites.
Pretty. And mountainy. We booked an excursion through Norwiegen on this one . It was supposed to be a boat tour and shopping. A Level1 activity. We stood in the hot sun about an hour waiting for a bus . no bus. Boat was sitting there the entire time. Boat it was a long walk on uneven pavement. My mom is 75 and some other older people had a hard time walking. The boat had a small top deck and an inside seating with small Windows you could not see out of. Norwiegen refunded 30%
Pretty still a lot of damage from 3 big hurricanes . paradise point and beach excursion was excellent. We were lucky to get an air conditioned bus. Some are open air. Beach and water was great
Celiac can be difficult to accommodate since so many products contain hidden sources, and our lawsuit culture does not help. No restaurant with an open kitchen can call any food gluten free because of the potential for cross contamination. The only way to warranty food as gluten free would be to remove all products containing gluten
from the facility.
Fad dieters and people with preferences represented as allergies are especially dangerous to people with life threatening reactions to food because they are yet another distraction. Servers begin to develop a sense of apathy dealing with the nonsense ones and forget that it is very serious for a growing number of people.
I was on this ship last week and have Celiac too. Did you speak to the Maitre'd? Or pre-order your meals for the next day? I found out the hard way last cruise that I should have done this. I did this cruise and it went much more smoothly.
