Review summary

I would think twice before going on this ship again. the staff are overworked and short staffed so we ran into some snippy waiters at times. To wait in line for 10 minute to get a soda was upsetting. Overall the staff looked unorganized. The only place we found to dance at night was the bar that only played rap. And catered to the 20ish crowd.. With so many people on board it was hard to find any quit time unless you went to your room. With this being my first cruise I have nothing to compare it to so from this experience I would not go again

Embarkation

For the large number of people boarding at the same time it was what to be expected. Once you made it through the initial signing in you were on your own to explore blindly as there was no one available to give you direction.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The Manhattan room was exceptional, Glad it was included as a no reservation restaurant as I paid for the specialty ones but by Sunday night they were all booked up for the week so was only able to use one of the three I prepaid for. The menu at the Manhattan house was better then the Specialty Steak house we went to. Had to wait 45 minutes after the salad for the main course and my card holder was lost by waitress when she finales the bill. We received items we did not order when the meal came that belonged on another table so it 2 not a good experience.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pool capacity is 26 people, No waiters or waitresses poolside for the first two days. Waiting line for even a soda was a minimum of 10 minutes

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows were all good

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
No children along but not to impressed with the lap dance that s encouraged poolside during the men's thigh competion. Children were allowed in the audience

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Too short staffed. Long waits outside of the restaurants.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Smoking areas caused some issues in the casino. Cigar room needs ventilation . The ship itself is interesting

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was good all around the best part of my trip.

Ship tip

Take a room in the center of the boat. Have all reservations made before you go. Be careful on excursions as time is a factor as welll.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Did the rum salsa excursion. The walking tour was fast paced, the bar we went to to mix a drink was small and the glasses given were dirty from previous drinks so had to clean them out before mixing my own, Dance floor for lesson was small platform over the backside of swimming pool in the bar

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Beach was dirty and had odor, Not much to see at port

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Small port and island. No excursion

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

2 out of 5
Only had 7 hours for this but with no port you had to transfer to smaller boat to go to island. I was in third group to go and did not make it to island antil after 1 pm. Not enough time for all people on boat to make it to island. Had to be back on ship at 5 pm. Water was nice ,island is small

Disembarkation

Customs only had 1 line open so people were lined for three floors on boat waiting to leave. With boat shut down for disembarking there was nothing to do for the three hours we waited in line
