Good ship, but larger than what I prefer. Nice to have the dining options. The pay restaurants were good, but not as good as those experienced on other cruise lines. The buffet was good, many stations, quality pretty good. Liquor package worked okay - bars busy but 2 drink allowance helped to compensate. Would be nice to be able to buy discounted canned or bottled soda for use in room. Requirement for reservations excessive - dining rooms, entertainment, etc. We are on vacation - not reservations.

Food and Dining

Large variety of dining options. Pay restaurants good, but service hit & miss. O'Sheehans a wonderful option. Need to have firm reservations for pay restaurants prior to cruise, little opportunity to change or add after cruise begins.
Onboard Activities

Guests hoarded lounge chairs - ship needs to better control. I think water slides & climbing wall were okay, but hours pretty limited.
Entertainment

Dueling pianos was excellent. Comedy pretty good, but reservation process not easy. Seems as though you need a reservation for everything, so it becomes cumbersome.

Most service good. Lines at bars sometimes a challenge, but okay.
Ship Quality

Ship very large - prefer the smaller ships 2000+. Design okay - but stateroom & hallways small. NCL crammed a few extra cabins into each floor, and it feels tight.
Cabin / Stateroom

Functional, but too small. Balcony should not even be allowed to call it as such, could not turn the chair to face the water. Should be called an oceanview with access to fresh air.
No space or storage in room. Hallways narrow, and always too much air conditioning.
Ship tip
Do research. Plan the specialty restaurants carefully, as you cannot change. Plan on spending considerable time getting reservations for entertainment or other dining options.
