It was sold out ship, but the crowds were not too bad. I love the Freestyle aspect and usually cruise Norwegian because of it. I wish we had longer in Costa Maya.
We had a good time -

Food and Dining

Loved all the specialty restaurants we tried - Moderno and Cagney's. Taste and Savor we good, too. O'Sheehan's was uneven and service was slow.
Onboard Activities

The Thermal Suite was lovely. We didn't use the very crowded pool area.
Entertainment

Syn Normand's Pour House was great! We went several times. Burn the Floor and Rock of Ages were also outstanding. The Cirque show was good, but not up the the standards of the others. Randon's performances were very relaxing.
Service and Staff

Our ship steward, Ryan, was great. They need more bartenders. The ones they had were very good, but overworked!
Ship Quality

I like it except for one very big thing, the smoke from the casino infects a lot of the ship, since it's part of the open central core.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great for two - like the glass shower enclosure versus the cloth shower curtain.
Ship tip
Book your shows/meals in advance. It's a big ship, but manageable.
We took a ship sponsored excursion to the Lamania Ruins/New River. It was great - but strenuous (if you climb). We were the first tender off and the last tender back - so book this one through the ship if you go.
Thank you for the review. Sounds like you had a very good time. Hubs and I will be on the ship next March. I know it's during Spring break and there will be a lot of kids, but we knew that when we booked it, so nobody is at fault but us. Guarantee we'll enjoy ourselves.
Appreciate seeing someone who can enjoy and appreciate the ship regardless of how busy it was. So many people have complained about that, and it is what you make of it. We board the Breakaway this Sunday!
