Review summary

Save your money or spend it on something other than this cruise. Waited five years to go on this Christmas Cruise, should have spent our money in New York City!  Food terrible, staff rude or indifferent. Wait times unacceptable with the exception of disembarkation .  Room attendant actually kicked my children out of the room and told them he had to service it. If I had been there this would NOT have happened. We booked two staterooms unfortunately had the same attendant for both, one room missed for two days until I caught him in the passageway and demanded clean towels. Decorations formchristmas disappointing. Show cancelled the night we had reserved tickets, private island did not happen due to weather! Celebrity will definately be receiving our business in the future!

We were on Breakaway jan. 2014. we discovered staff were not given the tip money or gratuities NCL was taking from us daily.. This is why the terrible service. the work crew on this ship is given a very small salary that they were contracted for ... they have no incentive to do a good job or care if passengers are happy... NCL is taking advantage of very poor people.. NCL is lying to passengers.. by saying that we are paying gratuities to our room stewards and work crew... they are being used... This is wrong and it is very apparent on this ship by the uninterested un- happy work crew!!
