Review summary

The ship itself was very nice- our balcony room was spacious, the layout of the ship and the amenities were nice, and everything was digital. We stayed on the 8th floor- we were near everything, yet it was still pretty quiet. The ride was a bit rough, and we couldn't stop at Great Stirrup Cay but that was the weather's fault. Overall, the food was okay but the two specialties we paid for- Moderno and La Cucina- were amazing! The staff was nice- especially the staff at Shakers martini bar and our maid. My only complaint would be the lack of respect for the adults only rules. In fairness, it's only partially Norwegian's fault; it's really more on the parents who bring their kids to the adults only areas and shows like Rock of Ages despite the 'unsuitable for kids' warnings.

Thank you for your helpful review! Did you do anything in place of Great Stirrup Cay like go to Nassau early? Where did you go or what excursions did you do in Nassau and Port Canaveral? I have been to these places before but I always enjoy hearing new ideas! I found the same with the adults-only rules on other NCL ships. I haven't been on the Breakaway yet but will be soon. Also, NCL staff was not vigilant about unattended deck chairs. I sometimes will go to lunch and leave stuff on the deck chair, but lots of people reserve them all day long and don't even use them (or so it seems). I hate that! haha.
