Review summary

Overall, we had a good time. People were polite for the most part kids were well behaved, no obnoxious children. They were all tended by their parents, even around the pool area. No, running down the hallways that I saw. Our cabin was quiet and dark at night how we like it. There was bad weather on the return to the LA port which caused a rocky last night, but no fault of the ship.

Embarkation

Lines moved fairly quickly. Luggage check in was crowded and slow but after that the process moved along.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Go carts were fun. Water slides and laser tags were in and out of service. Thermal spa was worth every penny!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Jersey boys and the Beatles experience were wonderful. Wish NCL would loose the bingo and game shows and bring back more quality entertainment. Hosting the game shows in the atrium just crowded up a smaller space when it could have been moved to the theater where there is more room

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean overall. Staff friendly and always working to maintain cleanliness. Easy to get from one end of the ship to the other on multiple levels Elevators are a mess when peak people movement times but stairs were always an option.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Book your Shore excursions and dining early particularly if you want specific times, and locations were dining, including the main dining rooms.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We did the bus tour. Nice but the tequila tasting super watered down and too many walk up vendors everywhere (standard for every Mexican port). Jewelry shop was a waste of time in what was otherwise a fun tour. The artisan market was nice all the touristy stuff.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Tender process slow (more so on return trip) Did the bus tour. Glass blowing demo interesting, restaurant with arch view nice (wish I could stay there! Like Greek Santorini) and the plaza was nice for shopping and had clean bathrooms We got to see a whale next to the tender boat returning to the ship

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Stone Island beach excursion. Water taxi then Tractor ride over to beach. Water cold but sunny day. Food ok. Drinks super watered down. Horseback riding was fun and it was nice to relax in the sun

Disembarkation

Once customs cleared around 740 it went fast. We carried off our own luggage and had passports
