Not sure about Norwegian. Might try again one day.

It was ok. I like how the other cruise lines will have your room card on your door. Moves thing along much faster.

Food and Dining

Food was pretty good especially the steak house. I wasn’t impressed with the Mexican and Japanese hibachi restaurants. I ordered a enchilada and it only had chicken inside of the shell. Cheese and other items was on the side. Terrible! That place didn’t receive much traffic on the ship.
The hibachi chef cooked everyone’s steak the same including mine. At least 6 people asked for medium cooked. That didn’t happen. Steak ended up tough. And the meal lacked veggies. Royal Caribbean‘s hibachi definitely has this one beat! But it was a nice change up from the everyday meals.
My daughter enjoyed the unlimited Starbucks coffee package. It was well worth it for the price.
But me and my wife wasn’t impressed with the included drink package. Other cruise lines include bottled water and Stelzers in their drink package. And our favorite martinis (expresso) and wine was over the allotted amount. It’s not a problem on Royal or Celebrity

Very nice theatre! Jersey Boys was pretty good. Please be aware that they use foul language at times. It’s noted on the program.
Service and Staff

Never saw our room steward until the last two days of the cruise. And even then he didn’t introduce himself to us or any of my neighbors. My room along with my daughters room didn’t get vacuumed all week. We had to request for more towels twice because he never came to our room. I was totally disappointed. Do Norwegian stewards make towel animals? Because none were made for the rooms on our floor.
Beside that everyone else was great and attentive.
Ship Quality

Have to get use to Norwegians ship design. I felt more enclosed compared to Royals. But the ship was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Worst experience ever! Carpet wasn’t vacuumed all week including my daughter’s room
Next door. Had to ask for towels several times. Didn’t meet room steward until last two days of the cruise. When we first checked in our room there was fingerprints of blood on the bathroom door that wasn’t cleaned. This is sad because it was my first time sailing with Norwegian.
Ship tip
Take advantage of the port program that will take your luggage to the airport for you from the ship and give you your airline boarding passes as well. For when it’s time to come home. And what’s great about that program offered is that it doesn’t cost you anything extra.
Did the historic float boat tour. It started late due to gentleman trying to get his wife onto the small boat that only seated six. Unfortunately he was turned away because of the danger to his wife. Tour was definitely overpriced because all we did was go out in the water for an hour while the guide showed us a few things including a float house. Time was too short in the port to shop.
Did the gold panning and salmon bake. Even though we thought we would be panning in the creek it still was fun. The food was really good. All you can eat! Salmon was cooked over a fire pit. They had ribs, scallop potatoes, bake beans, salad, cornbread and more.
Got there and it was dark and raining. Look like it could’ve been a great place. Way too short of a stop. We did do the escape room which gave us a tour as we went to our excursion. But it was dark and raining.
Norwegian will only make towel animals if you ask your room steward for them. I’m sorry you had this experience. I cruised on the Jewel in Alaska last month and saw my room steward multiple times a day. I think your situation was abnormal. NCL really should be looking into your situation, though. That’s really bad service on the steward’s part.
