Review summary

Ok cruise, very poor service around bars and non existent around decks and pools. In MDR every morning had an issue to order a small pitcher of milk for my coffee. (Instead of the fake creamers on the table) it would sometimes arrive after breakfast, fruit starters would also arrive after the main order.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Delicious, not the buffet though, we stopped to get a afternoon snack instead of lunch ( like cheeses, sliced cold meats, crackers etc and it was very limited

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pools were over crowded and empty “saved loungers” that the one ( very few) attendants told ME that I needed to remove their belongings!!!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent shows such as Jersey Bits, Six, and Beatles

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Poor service for drinks etc around pools and bars

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Poor layout of adult pool, no quiet adult area

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Nice cabin, very clean, loved the shower

Ship tip

Be aware there is no quiet pool area except the bliss area that you need to book for the entire cruise at a big expense. Nothing like the sanctuary on Princess. This would keep us from ever booking on NCL again

Sorry it was not the time you expected, perhaps next time go over the deck plans in the NCL app you might have seen Spice H2O on deck 17, "inspired by the renowned summer beach parties on the island of Ibiza, Spice H20 is an adult-only escape. By day, you can soak in hot tubs or sip cold cocktails from your reclined lounge chair. By night, it’s a whole different beat. Let loose and dance beneath the stars! "

Finding pool chairs is pretty tough, yeah. Did you try the SpiceH20 area at the back of the ship? There's no pool there, just the two jacuzzis, but it is adult-only. There's also a lesser-known Sun Deck higher up, I think it's one more set of stairs up from Vibe. It's small but quieter since it's far away from the other stuff.

Yeah, the thalassotherapy pool in the Mandera Spa is the only quiet adult pool in the Bliss. But it, too, can get a bit crowded, if they overbook. On my last cruise the ship was at 33% cap. so the most people I saw in there at one time was about 20.
