Review summary

The Alaska cruise was absolutely amazing! The views were unforgettable and the cruise was so much fun! I highly recommend bringing a thick rain jacket because when it rains, it rains; although they sell them for like $30-$40 at most ports. Pack layers and different ranges of outfits, sometimes its cold and sometimes its hot and you never really know what the weather is going to be.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The embarkation experience was great. We dropped our luggage about 10am at the cruise port and hung out around Seattle, we came back at our appointment time and total embarkation took maybe 20 minutes. It was quick and easy, the staff was friendly and kept the line moving.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the food was amazing. We ate at all 3 main dining rooms, the buffet, Cagney's, and Ocean Blue. The food was delicious everywhere even in the buffet. The chef in the buffet was amazing if you asked for something the chef would make it happen.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There was tons of stuff to do on board, we were able to ride go-karts, play laser tag, swim in the pool, and use the water slides. It was so much fun to be able to enjoy these activities on sea days and after visiting the ports. Due to weather the outdoor activities were closed often, but once the weather cleared up we were able to enjoy all these activities.

Laser Tag

So much fun, but it was closed due to weather alot.

Bliss Casino

2 out of 5

The casino had continuous automatic shufflers at the tables, and there weren't many options for slots.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows onboard were Jersey Boys and Six, they were amazing. The DJs and singers were great as well as the comedians. I do wish there was more music on the pool deck or in the Atrium.

Bliss Theater

5 out of 5

Amazing experience, the shows were great!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service from all the staff onboard was excellent. They were attentive, helpful, and talkative. I connected with so many staff members and they truly made the experience so great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The layout and design is great! The observation lounge and atrium and everything was always clean and well-maintained. If someone got up from a seat, a staff member would quickly come and clean the table and make it ready for someone else to sit down in all public areas. My only complaint is that the ship hallways and public areas were super hot!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was clean and comfortable and perfect for 2 passengers. We had plenty of space to store our stuff and relax in the cabin and balcony.

Ship tip

The one piece of advice would be to pack layers and a pack a thick warm rain jacket!

Glad you enjoyed yourself! My daughter wants to go next year to celebrate her high school graduation. So I’m booked on the same ship for June 2023.
