Wonderful cruise. I am glad that we went, and I definitely would go again.
Embarkation

Quick and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was great everywhere. We ate at the complimentary restaurants and buffet, and was great everywhere. Sufficient selection, Indian food, Asian food, American food, local food, burgers, pizza, pasta, almost anything you can think of. For specialty restaurant We went to Le Bistro (French), and it was so worth it. The food was so much better at this restaurant- I guess that’s why it’s specialty.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did laser tag, for extra cost, but it was so much fun. On a cruise to Alaska, we didn’t really expect to use a pool, but it was very warm one of the days, so definitely bring a swimsuit. There were also people using hot tubs every day. There are not too many activities, but there was always something going on at the Austrium- some kind of show or game. If there was nothing to do, we just relaxed at the observation lounge or outside at a bar and enjoyed the beautiful views. Also tried to spot a whale, and succeeded a few times.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We went with kids, 4 and 8, and most of entertainment there was meant for adults, I would say 20-50 years of age. We had to entertain ourselves with board games. But if you’re traveling without kids, and like loud and social events, you can definitely find something to do.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Not many children programs. The one for little ones was closed, so we couldn’t leave our youngest any where. The 8 year old went to the kids club, for an hour, and he loved it. There were plants of fun activities. It’s just too bad that we couldn’t leave a 4 year old there. They also have arcade room, with fun arcade games, but they are for extra cost- about $2 per game. Fun, but can get expensive.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was amazing from every one. It was like they were trying to compete who can provide better service.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean ship. New and modern style. I liked it much better than other older ships I was on before.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Typical cruise ship cabin. Clean. Roomy enough. We had 4 people in the cabin (2 kids), and it got a little croudy, but we managed.
Ship tip
Try something from Mojito bar and Whiskey bar. Even if you don’t like mojitos or whiskey, each bar has interesting drinks that you will not find anywhere else. Not all drinks are mojitos at Mojito bar, and not all drinks have whisky at the Whisky bar.
We took a shuttle to downtown. It’s very small, but beautiful. It has lots of shops and a kids playground along the shore. We spent most of the time at the playground because of the kids. There is a coffee shop there- not good coffee, kind of tasteless.
We went on excursion to see the whales. It was great. We didn’t see much of the whales because they stay under water, but we did see their backs and how they spit the water out.
Gorgeous. We just walked around and enjoyed the beauty of Alaska. There was a big gift shop and a restaurant-not much, but gorgeous views. There were also a few fire pits, so we sat by the fire, drank coffee and enjoyed the views. There were zip lines and other paid activities, but we didn’t do any of that. They looked fun though.
We went on excursion to totems, light house, and eagles. It was great, but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to go into town. It was a 20 minute drive from the cruise ship. I really wish we’d go into town instead, there are many shops with local merchandise.
