Review summary

Was a good cruise. I can't imagine what it would have been like if we had been an full capacity. So lucky it was less than half capacity.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super fast and easy to follow directions. A lot of employees to move the process along quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Wonderful selection of foods and locations to eat most of the day.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Activities lacked incentives, poor signage for bowling and miniature golf.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Levity comedy was great in the small location, but not so good on the big stage. Jersey Boys was phenomenal, definitely worth the wait when rescheduled. The Beatles were awesome both in the Cavern and on the big stage. Back in the Day was good in the theatre, but eardrum busting on the pool deck-we left it was way too loud! A couple of programs on the pool deck where turned up to high in volume to enjoy the outdoors-hard to relax when the sound is so ridiculously loud.

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Dubravka (sp) was on the spot with taking orders. The Spice Up staff was very inattentive, it was frustrating how sporadic the serve was in that area. Loved the singing doorman at the Garden Cafe, always uplifting.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean, would love to have fish throughout the ship. Hard to figure out forward and aft for several days.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was wonderful, clean, roomy, and great location.

Ship tip

Explore the ship the first day. There are no maps that show bowling or golf, not sure what else we missed. Just go exploring and find the library, spice up deck, and other poorly noted locations.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Great port, we did an excursion that was well organized and interesting.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
Very clean and easy to move to excursion start point. Frustrating that we waited so long for other guests when we were clearly given a departure time. ( this happened twice :( )

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
So much faster and easier than previous cruises. Plenty of staff to keep the process moving.
