With masks optional onboard for passengers, it was almost back to normal. Almost.
Embarkation

Embarkation was fine. We had preregistered for our COVID-19 test and checked in online, so there wasn’t much of a delay, other than waiting for the test results.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We were in the Haven and the Haven restaurant is good, but the menu never changes. We had dinner at Cagney’s twice and the service was subpar. It was the first really bad experience we had at Cagney’s in twenty cruises. American Diner is fun (and good.) Food Republic has a lot of very interesting choices. Dinner at Teppenyaki was fun, as always. We had dinner at Q which is fine, but it’s not really Texas barbecue.

Service levels were far below usual. Food was good.
The Haven Restaurant (Exclusive to Guests of The Haven)

Good food, good service but the menu never varies.
Coco's

Forget the diet and have some fun! Gelato was very good.
Onboard Activities

There’s a lot to do on the Bliss (this was our third cruise on her) but given the strange conditions in the world, we spent less time than usual wandering the ship.
Service and Staff

Jennifer, our room steward, was the best we’ve ever had. Bartenders were great. Waiters in Cagney’s were below average, at best.
Ship Quality

I love the Bliss. The Breakaway Plus class has some beautiful ships.
Cabin / Stateroom

It’s a Haven handicap balcony. It’s huge. I wasn’t happy with the mattress. Everything else was fine.
We did the Tiles and Tequila excursion. Tiles is really just stopping at a tile shop, next door to a leather shop and across the street from a jewelry shop. Very hard sell in the jewelry shop. That part of the excursion was very poor. The tequila distillery visit made up for it. Tour was fun, guide was hilarious, tequila (and lunch) was tasty.
