Excellent staff especially the activities staff. Alexander the assistant cd was excellent. Other activities staff were outstanding including Liz from South Africa, Tiago Alves from Brazil should be a CD always friendly. Queena was the best. Kenny Garcia was the best comic. Can’t wait to see ya all onboard again.

Food and Dining

MDR had decent food. Not one dish was outstanding. Manhattan room extremely slow. Taste and savor hit or miss. We ate breakfast there and it was adequate. Fish dishes seemed to be same fish with different names except salmon. Cagney and Italian specialty were excellent. Sugarcane mojitos bar excellent especially ginger mojitos and drink called Saturn landing. Rude bartenders in observation lounge and passengers barefoot on pillows sleeping in pajamas. Only visiting twice in 14 nights. Same thing for buffet once and done. The local food was excellent. Chicken wings and salad. Excellent.
Onboard Activities

Water slide. Race cars both excellent. But the best thing is the dancing opportunities. Sugarcane mojitos bar had a fantastic band the Gold River Duo. Latin dancing every night. Wonderful fellow passengers teaching us dancing! Excellent activities staff and friendly dancing theme parties by the pool and h20 out back and in Atrium. Tiago Alves, Liz, Queena, Shakira and Thomas were outstanding. Especially Alexandro the asst. CD leader of the pack. Also a beautiful dancer Brianna from the UK dancing with us and she was spectacular in play 6 with Pink Hair.
Entertainment

Play 6 outstanding especially Brianna with Pink Hair and she danced with us every night. Jersey Boys was excellent, we enjoyed it both nights. Comedian Kenny Garcia from Brooklyn NY was excellent and I’m still laughing. Other comics were great. Band Gold River Duo were excellent and such gracious hosts to the packed Sugarcane Bar. Reggae band and rock band great. They also had a piano guy in beer bar and piano lady in lounge. Q bbq had an amazing country band. We enjoyed the best cruise experience ever. JC the CD was superb!,,,,,very friendly. Beatles band was great!
Service and Staff

Even if I tipped a one or two dollar bill the bartender were very unfriendly. In the observation lounge they were rude. We enjoyed the dancing opportunities and never ever sit attached to a bar stool so I guess we have to tolerate this as we’re not regulars. Think of Cheers! Wait staff in the Local were excellent. MDR all of them were rushed and slow service. Antonio in sugarcane mojitos bar was excellent.
Ship Quality

Other than the elevators the ship was excellent. 6 7 and 8 were outstanding with the amazing party location. The Social for comics and late night dancing. Cavern club for the Beatles. Q for country music. Sugarcane mojitos bar was excellent for Latin dancing. Craft beer bar for piano man. Centrum atrium was outstanding for dancing contest. H20 is excellent for dancing party. Pool party with excellent activities staff.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very small. Not much storage space. But bathroom was excellent. Big shower and glass door. June was excellent our cabin steward. Only saw him 3 times in 14 nights. But he was magical with cleaning up with us gone. Deck 10 great location for getting down to the activities or up to the activities.
We drove down from Massachusetts and stayed at the Hilton garden inn in Ridgefield Park New Jersey for $339.00 park sleep and breakfast and shuttle. Excellent. We are looking forward to doing this again.
$15 bus shuttle to coco beach and $22 bikes rental. Excellent. Only thing we could not ride on beach soft sand. Check out the high tide for info on time for beach ride. Non the less we rode around for hours. Excellent.
I played volleyball with my fellow passengers. Excellent. Enjoyed the waterfront. Snorkeling gear and snorkeling from shore. Bbq was great. Fresh fruit. Even tacos spot. Excellent drinks as we enjoyed the drinks package. A Superb Day. Excellent. Note to try and get bbq as soon as it’s ready. We had to tender because of pier damage.
Got a great deal off ship $20 each and bus ride and little tour then quickly to Blue Bamboo beach. Chairs included. Not one person hassled us. Excellent. And this is Jamaica. We enjoyed the beach. Drinks and food were available but we enjoyed the detox day. Water only. Great music.
Again off ship deal to swim with stingray at stingray city. $35 each. Bus ride to nice boat. Sat top deck with UK passengers. We have our own snorkeling gear and snorkeling with stingray. Excellent. We saw hundreds. Even held one. Whole family of stingray. Later snorkeling above a reef on the way back. Excellent boat ride. Worth every penny. Much cheaper than cruises lines prices.
Cab ride to to Henry Morgan Resort. $20 each for use of resort. Including chairs and umbrellas and snorkeling from shore. Immediately after arriving we did Zumba dancing. My wife loved it. Later snorkeling from shore over an incredible reef and drop off wall. Amazing.
Excellent. Played volleyball and enjoyed the beach. Rental of cabana for my wife as cancer survivor and avoid sun. $40. Excellent pool. Very nice place. Drinks package doesn’t work here so expensive drinks and food which we avoid. Detox Day. Lovely place.
Cab ride to Mahahul beach. Constantly hassled by my Mexican friends. Excellent. One named David begged me to sell to him my New England Patriots championship hat offered up to $20. So I thought about and thought he was just kidding. But with tears in his eyes he said that it was the most beautiful hat he ever saw. Excellent. I just sold my hat for $20. He started dancing. And all his friends treated me and my wife like family. Upon leaving at days end David hugged me. Also got a hour massage for $22 with tip.
