Review summary

We very much enjoyed the cruise. Staying in a suite wit Haven privileges was expensive. We traveled with 2 other couples who were not in the Haven and they enjoyed the cruise as well.

The meals at the specialty restraints and the dining rooms were excellent. Great service too.

Weather was too chilly for most on-deck activities.

Entertainment

Jersey Boys -excellent. Beatles (Britain’s Finest)- excellent. Havana - very good. Musicians, dj, etc. all very good.

Service and Staff

I thought service was great everywhere. Even just walking through decks the stewards/room cleaners all made a point to say hello or other nice comments. Our Haven staff steward/butler/concierge was superb.

Ship Quality

It’s big - and I can understand why some prefer a smaller ship. But, once we established a few landmarks it was fine. Maps were everywhere to help.

Cabin / Stateroom

Aft-facing penthouse with large balcony. Great room, plus bedroom great views. Room was cleaned at least twice a day. Nice bathroom, with 2 sinks, shower, tub, toilet.

There is so much going on, check the events listing frequently to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Interesting city. Did the Seafood Market, Space Needle, Monorail on our own. Glass museum at the Space Needle is amazing.

Nice quaint town that works hard to attract tourists. Did the Tram to Mt Roberts. Nice and very poplar.

Another touristy tow. We did the White Pass RR excursion, which was pleasant and educational. Nice shops and restaurants.

Cruise Glacier Bay

No excursion, just a pleasant day cruising the bay and inlets. The ship brings Park Rangers onboard to narrate and answer questions.

I don’t think there is any way to make this process enjoyable. It is long lines and a scramble for bags and transportation. But it was a well organized process.
