It was a complete ripoff. We paid quite a bit extra for the balcony & it didn't really matter. There was a service charge of $14.95/per day which wasn't in the contract. I have no wonderful pics of the trip to share and we will not be returning to any of the ports we visited. Norwegian seemed to be just jamming as many people as possible onto the boat without considering customer service.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The food was tasteless and leftovers were used frequently. Seafood not edible, refrozen many times. "Prime rib" was not prime rib.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
over crowded pool decks where no lounges were available. Gym was fine.
Entertainment

"The Beatles" were very good.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Our room didn't get made up the first 2 days we were there and had to get ahold of a supervisor. Rude personnel in doctor's cabin.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
The ship design was very poor and cheaply constructed. Many times we were crammed into the elevator area with no space. At night, the pool decks were full of blown around trash and debris.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
The cabin was Ok. However, the mirrors must have been stolen from a freak show because we were very distorted. Not conducive to luxury. Closet hangers rattled at night. The shower soap had been watered down and the towels were counted in an insulting fashion.
Ship tip
Don't go. I have been on many cruises and this was the worst. They seemed very greedy.
We did an excursion to ride up the mountain. It was over half an hour late and had been touted as a 3 hour trip. Back in an hour and dropped off at a flea market. Felt completely ripped off.
The $14.95 gratuity is very well spelled out. You say you have been in cruises before but it sounds like you had no idea what to expect. Cruising doesn't seem to be for you
We sailed on the Bliss on February 2, 2019. The ship was very clean. Staff is always cleaning restrooms on the ship, and other areas as well. Food in the buffet was so-so. Taste and Savor and the Mexican restaurant were excellent. Loved Coco’s white chocolate raspberry gelato. The Local was fun and food and service were very good. We enjoyed the shows and the race track. We were a group of 27 and really enjoyed our trip. Sounds like this couple wanted to complain about anything and everything. Maybe next time you should just stay home!!!
More decks means twice as many passengers with same size pool deck area. Obviously outside deck will b crowded. Surcharges for taxes, fees, tips, etc always added on and noted in booking info. We like smaller class ships but had a good time on the Bliss in October.
1st cruise? Daily gratuities are listed numerous times through the booking process with NCL and all other cruise lines. While I do agree that it can seem like a big money grab at times I don't personally think it is as bad as you are saying which is why I asked if 1st cruise? Elevators are always crowded on ships. Did you try any of the specialty dining offerings? Maybe try a smaller ship next time? Sorry uou did not enjoy.
We were on Bliss in January not sure what ship you were on but the Bliss was an awesome ship matter of fact we booked again on Bliss Prob cruising isnt for you
I guess you were on a different ship then I was 2 times. The Bliss is a beautiful ship with so much to offer. Was it your first cruise because every cruise line has a service charge.Maybe a resort would be better for you.
